PureMVC Framework

I had been looking around for more information about frameworks and design patterns, specifically the Model-View-Controller design pattern, as popularized by the Ruby on Rails project. Joel Hooks has been extolling the virtues of the PureMVC framework. Realizing that the framework has being ported to several other languages, with Perl on the list of ports yet to be developed, gives me more reason to investigate. There is currently no Perl implementation of the framework. The Perl port is looking for an owner. I don’t think it will be me, a complete noob.

VEsession Flex Photography Studio Management

While still in its infancy, Joel Hooks’s VEsession Photography Studio Management Application looks very promising. It is an open source project built with Flex using the PureMVC framework.
